1. Who we are

Listing AI is operated by Valo Optimise Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. The data controller for this service is Valo Optimise Ltd. Contact: hello@sub-pulse.com.

2. What data we process

When you install Listing AI on your Shopify store and use the service, we process:

• Store metadata: shop domain, Shopify access token, granted scopes, install timestamp.
• Product catalogue: product titles, descriptions, vendor, type, tags, image URLs, prices.
• Generated content: AI rewrites we produce for your products (kept for 90 days for undo + audit, then deleted).
• Billing data: customer email, billing address (collected by Stripe — we never see card numbers).
• Diagnostic data: timestamps, request paths, error codes (no PII other than the above).

We do not process customer-of-merchant data: no end-customer email addresses, no order data, no payment information beyond your billing record with us.

3. Why we process it

• To deliver the rewriting service you signed up for (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) — performance of contract).
• To bill you (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• To diagnose service issues and prevent abuse (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest, balanced against your rights).

4. Sub-processors

We rely on the following sub-processors. Where data leaves the UK/EEA, transfers are governed by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

• OpenAI, L.L.C. (US) — runs the LLM inference on product copy. policy
• Resend (EU-West-1) — transactional email delivery. policy
• Vercel, Inc. (US/EU) — application hosting and edge delivery. policy
• Turso (ChiselStrike, Inc.) (EU) — primary database. policy
• Stripe Payments UK Ltd (UK) — billing. policy
• Cloudflare, Inc. (US/UK) — DNS, edge protection. policy

5. How long we keep data

• Generated rewrites: 90 days (for the undo window), then automatically deleted.
• Store metadata + access token: until you uninstall the app or close your account.
• Billing records: 7 years as required by UK tax law (HMRC).
• Service logs: 30 days, then aggregated or deleted.

6. Your rights

You have rights under UK GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 to:

• Access the personal data we hold on you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to our legal retention obligations).
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7. Uninstall / data deletion

When you uninstall Listing AI from your Shopify admin, we receive a webhook from Shopify and trigger deletion of all associated store data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Cookies

Our marketing site (sub-pulse.com) sets only strictly necessary cookies for session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be notified by email to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect.
